It is not something that has been asked for before, but if enough members thought it would be useful, I would certainly look into it.

Nowadays, players are deemed to have made the cut if they get paid. Therefore, stroke play tournaments that have no cut (e.g. The Tour Championship on the US PGA Tour) are counted in cut streaks.

We do not count match play events in the cut streak however.

We've swapped 'highest WR' and 'lowest WR' on the site. We agonised originally (well, for a while anyway!) over whether number one was the lowest ranked or the highest ranked player.

We opted for the numerically correct former, but really it should be the latter as it's the best ranking one can attain. It's also how it's referred to in the media and so on.

Therefore, we've swapped them on the tournament page and the Field Strength Chart pages.

This feature has now been reintroduced.

've experimented with incorporating field sizes into the equation and the 2 WGC events still come out on top. The Players Champ moves up to third on the list, ousting the Mercedes-Benz Champ which has a very small field.

It's hard to argue with the field strength of the WGC-Accenture Match Play. Its 75 strong entry list (including alternates) this year had the top 74 golfers plus no. 78 in the world. If that's not a strong field, I don't know what it is!
