2011 - Top 5 Longest Courses on the European PGA Tour

Based on the course information in Golf Predictor, these were the longest courses on the European PGA Tour in the 2011 season*:
  1. The Ritz-Carlton GC at Dove Mountain (WGC - Accenture Match Play Championship) - 7833 yards
  2. Serengeti GC (South African Open)- 7761 yards
  3. Earth Course, Jumeirah Golf Estates (DP World Tour Championship, Dubai) - 7758 yards
  4. Royal Johannesburg and Kensington GC (Joburg Open) - 7589 yards
  5. Abu Dhabi GC (Abu Dhabi Golf Championship) - 7510 yards
Interestingly, the South African Open was held twice in the 2011 season and one host course made the shortest course list and the other made the longest course list! You can get more detailed information by looking at the 'Longest Courses' chart on the 'Other Stats/Tourn. Stats' page (Euro Tour, 2011 Season) in the member section of Golf Predictor. Click on the "Lists" category opposite to see more such lists.

*Course lengths are based on 2013 values as I forgot to do this post at the end of the season in question! Very few, if any, courses change their yardages significantly from year to year.
